The Potter residence is located in Godric's Hollow, at the spot where Harry's parents' house once stood. It was built by Harry and Ginny when they married, and is surrounded by a big garden, which in turn is enclosed by a wall. The house itself consist of a main building, and an add on that was orignially built later.

After an attack on the house on May 11, 2025, the house is in ruins but being rebuilt to have the same appearance after, one more room will be added to the rebuilt house as the add on get another floor. The rebuilt house looks like this:

The add on is in two floors and contains a bedroom for Teddy, two guest bedrooms and a living room for the guests. It has an own entrance, but can be reached from the main house as well.

Wards/spells/restrictions on the house:

The house is heavily warded to keep both Dark Wizards and reporters far away. Some of the spells/restrictions are:

* The house is (will be) under the Fidelius charm - Order member, family and close friends have access.
* You can't Apparate inside unless you're immediate family (you can Disapparate)
* You can't climb over (or fly over) the wall unless you're immediate family (goes for Animagi as well) even if you're keyed into the house.
* You can fire-call but not floo in unless your fireplace is hooked up to the house. (Some known reporters/stalkers are blocked from fire-calling as well)
* There is a bell rope at the gate which can be pulled (provided that you're keyed to the Fidelius and can even see it) to let you in. The gate will open and the family will be alerted to your arrival. If no one is in the house you can access the garden but not the house.
* Hidden Dark detectors are placed by the gate to warn the family of anyone with harmful intentions cross into the grounds (for instance someone under the Imperius) - NOTE: this will not stop someone who has been keyed from entering, but it will warn the family of his or her intentions.

He has a scar in his forehead in the shape of a lightning… you know, canon LOL With age he’s still himself, though obviously a few more lines and maturity to his face. He’s a bit broader over the shoulders has a bit softer stomach than he’d like, and a fair few scars on his body that he gathered over the years. FAMILY Wife: Ginevra (Ginny) Potter Children: James (b. 2004), Albus (b. 2006), Lily (b. 2008) Parents: James Potter, Lily Potter (nee Evans) – both deceased Extended family: The Weasleys PERSONALITY Harry is stubborn, hot headed, brave and sometimes reckless with his own safety. He can be overly protective of those he cares about, though his job has forced him to learn that he cannot do everything on his own. He is responsible for sending people on dangerous missions and he has learnt to deal with the fact that not all of them will come back in one piece. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t beat himself up when ever that happens. He tends to keep his problems to himself, bottling things up in an attempt to not worry others. This can be frustrating for those around him as he gets snappish when he does this. It’s also one of the reasons why the children were so surprised by the news of the divorce. He didn’t want to burden them, and so it came as a surprise that risked his relationship with both his sons. His greatest skills lie in DADA and flying. He is a powerful wizard, but doesn’t brag about it. In truth he doesn’t see what the fuss is about, and wishes for nothing more than to be just another man, away from the public eyes. BACKGROUND Harry was born to Lily and James Potter…obviously we all know this stuff. So – After finishing Voldemort, Harry didn’t return to school. The idea of becoming a student again, with everything he’d been through, just seemed impossible. He really had no plan, no idea of what to do, and was rather shocked when offered a place in the Auror division. He’d never considered that exceptions would be made for him. Being an Auror was something that allowed him to work through what had happened. He could see the good he did when he helped catch the Death Eaters that had gone away, and it also gave him a sense of purpose he so desperately needed. It took time to pick things up again, but getting back together with Ginny, then eventually becoming part of the Weasley family he so dearly loved, and starting a family on his own all helped his healing immensely. With Ginny and the Weasleys and most importantly his children, he finally had what he had wanted his entire life – a family of his own. The near divorce was a blow to him, but after persuading Ginny to return to him he has no intention of letting anything break up his family ever again. He nearly lost his wife, his son stopped talking to him for a while, and now he's determined to keep things right. However, with Voldemort targeting and cursing James, he's so afraid that his efforts will be in vain.
